The pattern for the Tree Bark socks is now available for purchase!
Designed to work well with hand-dyed yarns, the texture of this pattern looks equally good in a solid color. Using knit, purl, and slipped stitches, this is a good pattern for a beginning sock knitter.
Materials:
Approximately 350-400 yards of fingering weight sock yarn.
Set of 5 DPNs, US size 1 (2.25mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
Darning needle for grafting toe.
Gauge: 8.5 stitches = 1" Size: Women's medium (large) Foot circumference: 7" (8.5")
Shown above in hand-dyed yarn from Stitch Jones in "The Trees," 400 yards Merino/Nylon superwash.

The pattern is a 4-page PDF file that will be made available for download immediately upon purchase.

This pattern can also be purchased in print form at All About Yarn.
Thank you to Kathleen for test knitting the pattern and adjusting the numbers for the smaller size. :)
