Anyway, she arrives tomorrow afternoon. We're then staying at an airport hotel (she's very allergic to cats, so my house is out of the question), then catching a 6:30 a.m. (!!) flight Saturday morning for Miami via Atlanta. We'll stay overnight at the Miami Airport Hilton and then, on Sunday, board the Carnival Victory for a seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise! This has been in the works for about six months, and you'd think I might be all organized and prepared, but I'm so not! As I type this, I have my clothing packed, but not my knitting, my shoes, my toiletries, my electronics (is it possible to travel without a digital camera and an iPod? I think not) and various and sundry other things, like books. I think it's going to be a late night. That's okay, though, because we'll need to go to bed early tomorrow night to be able to make our
