Snow!

Snow
White, frosty
Falling, clinging, covering
Snowmen, angels, slickers, umbrellas
Soaking, flowing, flooding
Wet, soggy
Rain

We don't get snow here very often and it doesn't usually last very long, so I tend to savor it. Thought I'd imortalize this morning's dusting with a diamonte, just for fun. :)

I've had contractors here for a few days putting new tile in the two upstairs bathrooms, along with a few other handyman type jobs. It's coming along beautifully and I hope they're finished by the end of the week. So far, I love it!

Work has been a bit slow in arriving in my inbox, so I've been knitting. YEAH! This morning, I finished a trio of wash cloths that will get paired with some handmade soap (when I buy it) and be a nice gift for a friend. Can you guess the theme?

I also cast on for a pretty scarf, but then some work arrived, so I got distracted. I'll post more on that when I get the pattern really going. Meanwhile, here's the picture of the finished Airy Scarf I promised before. Enjoy!

Hi Cindy - I'm catching up on my blog reading, and noticed your post on the Harlot's blog re: the one-skein sea silk shawl. Living in Oregon doesn't mean you can't get the pattern - Lettuce Knit does mail order! You can call 'em and they'll send it to you. They've sent stuff to Europe, Australia and tons of other places. Oregon should be no problem. Check their website:
